What happens when there is no school?

There are no lessons if school is cancelled. This does not include scheduled school off-days. In those instances, lessons will be re-scheduled for alternate days.

Where do you hold your lessons?

Lessons are given after school, Monday through Thursday, in the Band Suite at Floyd Central High School.

How much do you charge for your teaching services?

Please refer to the "Lessons" tab for pricing and the "Book Online" tab for availability.

What does my student need to bring to lessons?

Students should bring their instrument, required music, a pencil, metronome/tuner, and any related instrumental accessories (reeds, cleaning cloths, cork grease, valve oil, etc). A positive, teachable attitude is also a must!

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

In order to receive a rescheduled lesson, cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours notice of the lesson, by email or phone. Any cancellation made less than 24 hours may not be rescheduled and is at the discretion of Mrs. Traughber. There are no refunds for cancelled lessons.

How do I purchase lessons?

You may purchase lessons by the month or by the semester. During months of scheduled school breaks, you may choose to purchase and continue lessons during those times. Acceptable methods of payment are cash, check, or credit card (available to purchase online).
